What this guy said makes good sense and I seem to understand.
"Our modern society is set up to get us into debt. I was raised with the phrase, 'If you don't have the cash to pay for something , then you don't need it.' Of course I started on a path of debt. I got a college loan and two credit cards while in college. More on this later."
How many people heard that when they where growing up. Especially from grandparents that grew up in the great depression?
Perhaps we need to dig down into our memory banks, remember the words of our grandparents, “Stay out of debt. Store up food for the winter. Fix things don’t threw them away and buy new.”
We have become a, use it till it breaks throw it away and buy another one, society. Use it, loose it, replace it. Consume, consume, consume this is our doom.
